IWC Portofino Replica Watch
f you have researched premium brand watches then the chances are that you will have come across the IWC label. IWC stands for International Watch Company and the company is based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. The brand has been in operation since the late 1800’s under a different previous name and due to this length of time the company has been active they have produced a wide variety of watches under numerous different collection names. One of the most popular of these is the Portofino family of watches, and this is what this post will discuss.
What really sets the Portofino replica watches apart from other watches produced by IWC is the strapping which the watch features. The majority of other watches you may have researched or considered feature a simple and common steel bracelet, but this is not the case with the Portofino. Rather this watch features a flexible steel bracelet (see image above) which ensures that the end user experiences a great deal of comfort when the watch is worn for extended periods of time. Not only does this bracelet feel comfortable to wear, but it is also extremely sleek and attractive and adds to the sense of exclusivity which this watch carries.
In addition to this, the profile of the watch dial is very slim and sleek, in fitting with the bracelet and this has reduced the overall weight of the watch, with weight being a far more critical factor in watch making now than it once was. Carrying on this theme of slim and sleek, the watch hands and also the detailing on the edge of the face are also delicately sized, which adds to the streamlined feel of this particular time piece. The brushed detailing on the dial is one of my personal favourite features of the Portofino as due to this brushed effect the colour of the dial changes colour slightly in different light conditions.
When all factors are considered, if you are seeking a replica watch which is slim, sleek and stylish, but one which does not compromise on quality and comfort then the IWC Portofino replica should be a serious consideration.
