ZF Factory Published Replica IWC Top Gun Miramar IW389001 and IW389002 Ceramic Watches
ZF factory has recently introduced two significant additions to the Pilot Chrono series of replica IWC watches in our market: the Top Gun IW389001 and IW389002. Both timepieces feature ceramic cases and military-style nylon bands, making them ideal choices for aficionados of military-inspired watches. Below, I present the specifications of these two remarkable watches:
- Movement: Asia Valjoux 7750, with Real Chronograph Function
- Case: 44mm*17mm, crafted from High-Quality Imported Black Ceramic
- Crystal: Sapphire with Swiss Standard Anti-Reflective Coating
- Dial: IW389001 features a Black Dial, while IW389002 boasts a Green Dial. Both dials are adorned with Green Superlume on Markers and Hands
- Bracelet: Nylon Clad Calf Leather Strap with Deployant Clasp
- Water Resistance: Up to 30 meters
Both replica watches sport brushed black ceramic cases, lending a sophisticated aesthetic. The case’s entire surface, including the front and sides, exhibits a brushed finish, with the chronograph buttons following suit. With a diameter of 44mm, the ceramic case imparts a weighty feel to the watch. The case back features correct engravings on a brushed surface, including a “TOP GUN” sculpture and other relevant markings.
IW389001 presents a sleek all-black design, including the dial, which is my personal favorite. Conversely, IW389002 features a striking green dial. One subtle difference between the two watches lies in the dial: IW389002 incorporates a red circle at the center to display the 12-hour mark. Both watches feature subdials positioned at 12 and 6 o’clock. The subdial with a small red hand serves as the small seconds subdial, while the subdials at 12 o’clock feature two small dials in a sunken design. The outer dial functions as the 60-minute chronograph counter, while the inner dial indicates the 12-hour chronograph. All hour markers are white, with luminous material applied to the markers at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock, emitting a strong green glow in low light conditions.
Personally, I find the black dial of IW389001 more appealing, with its white details against the black background enhancing readability and exuding a cooler aesthetic.
Regarding the movement, ZF claims to have developed a clone of the IWC 89361, which is essentially modified from a Chinese chronograph movement known as the Asia Valjoux 7750. Despite its origins, the movement behind the solid case back functions impeccably, replicating all the features of the genuine watch. Moreover, the stability of the Asia Valjoux 7750 movement has been rigorously tested for over a decade, ensuring reliability.
The watch band appears to be nylon on the outside but is actually crafted from calf leather, providing both water resistance and comfort. The buckle on the band is meticulously crafted with a brushed finish.
